The Muddy Valley Wrestling Club attended the Junior Longhorn Stampede Wrestling Tournament on December 10. The tournament was held at Legacy High School. There were 15 – 20 clubs participating in the event with over 300 wrestlers.
Muddy Valley wrestlers performed very well considering they had the smallest team with only ten wrestlers participating. These included Jacob Glaubitz, 2nd; Chance Houston, 2nd; Jacob Leavitt, 3rd; Chase Guesman, 4th; Trey Jones, 5th; Cade Neilson, 5th; Dakota Baldwin; Jace Brock; Spencer Brock; Conner Canfield.
Coaches that attended were Tyson Houston, Johnny Guesman and Bill Belcher. Team Moms: Susie Guesman and Kellie Houston also took time to attend this meet.
“We sincerely thank Moapa Valley High School for the use of their facilities for our practices,” said Muddy Valley Coach Bill Belcher. “We still are accepting registration on any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 5:30 pm in the MVHS wrestling room.”
