First year Muddy Valley Wrestler, Jase Bovi, got two pins in the match on Saturday, January 28.

The Muddy Valley youth wrestling team traveled to Boulder City on January 28 and participated in the Team Boulder’s Commons/Patton Memorial Tournament. The team wrestled very well having seven of their ten wrestlers place.

Placing for Muddy Valley were the following: Spencer Brock 3rd, Chase Guesman 3rd, Jacob Leavitt 4th and Russell Bodily 4th. Jase Bovi placed 5th and also had two pins. He was the team’s wrestler of the week. Trey Jones 6th and Cade Neilson 6th.

Other participants were Ryan Bellavance, Roy Hoe, Chance Houston and Shandon Matheson.

The coaches who spend a lot of time helping the kids in pursuing an adventure in wrestling are Tyson Houston, Tim Walker and Cory Bodily with team Mom Susie Guesman.
