Members of the local Cactus Cruisers Car Club have been perusing area yard sales with an eye out to benefit local kids. Club members Ralph Starita and Leroy Seckinger spend Saturday mornings checking out local yard sales. And when they see a toy that is in good condition they purchase it and donate it to Cappalappa Family Resource Center (CFRC) for local kids to play with.
Last week, Starita and Seckinger showed up at CFRC with three large bags of stuffed toys collected in this way.
“We love Cappalappa and try to do whatever we can to help them out,” said Seckinger. It is a good cause.”
“Our club is about looking for ways to help out with local things like this,” said Starita.
