Marilyn Sue White, age 80, died Thursday, April 26, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was born October 8, 1931 in Hollywood, California to George Porter and Artimissa Sarah Pittman Brewer.  She married Frank Elbert White on November 6, 1949 in Kingman, Arizona.  He preceded her in death February 23, 2012.
Marilyn grew up in Hollywood and later Las Vegas.  She and Frank raised their family in Las Vegas and Ely, NV.  She worked as a school bus driver and as a bartender at the horse races and bowling alley.
Marilyn enjoyed bowling and crochet.  She was an active member of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War. She loved cats and dogs.
She is survived by her four children; Elizabeth Suzann Winters of Riverton, UT, George Edward White of Ruth, NV, Mary Ann Fritchie of Ely, Nevada and Stuart Edward White of Logandale, NV; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at noon at Mountain Vista Chapel, 450 Mill Street, Ely, NV 89301.  Interment will be in the Ely Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to sign the online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
