Mesquite Relay For Life To Hold Medieval Carnival
The American Cancer Society Mesquite Relay for Life is sponsoring a fundraising medieval carnival in conjunction with their other cancer related activities on Friday May 4 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on the Virgin Valley High School track. Admission is free with games and food by donation.
Live music will feature the highly acclaimed oldies band, The Clique. Jest Serendipity will provide improv comedy similar to the television show Whose Line is It Anyway. Local talent will include vocalists Felisha Rolfsmeyer and Donna Thomas and Mesquite’s own Larry Lemieux will attempt to teach the crowd a High Court dance.
A variety of games and activities will also be available including dice throw, ring toss, fish bowl toss, jousting, bean bag toss, balloon hats & swords, bounce house, fitness challenges, hula hoop contest, face painting, frypan throw, lasso golf, medieval mask decorating, sword in the stone, knight photos, and hair bling.
