Margo Lambson

Margo Bushman Lambson, age 57, died April 2nd, 2012 in a fire at her home in Aztec, New Mexico. Margo was born August 21st, 1954, in Farmington, New Mexico to Preston Junior and Emogene Foutz Bushman, the third of their seven children.

She moved with her family to Overton, Nevada in 1963, where she attended Moapa Valley High School. She was involved in many school activities, most notably, acting the part of Yenta in the school musical Fiddler on the Roof in 1971. She attended UTC in Provo, Utah and was the Editor of the newspaper there.

Margo was known among those who knew her as a writer of poetry, a listener, a person who loved her family dearly, and a loyal friend. She worked for many years at the Bushman Arrow Agency in Farmington, New Mexico, first with her father and then with her brother David. Her marriage to Maxwell Lambson in 2003 was one of the great blessings in her life.

She is survived by her husband Max, her 4 children, Preston James Passey, Karla Bustamante, Megan Dufur, and Warren Neil Passey, her nine grandchildren; her sister Judith (Humes), and four brothers: Scott, Gregory, David, and Darcy Bushman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Decker, and one niece, Rebecca Humes.

The family takes this occasion to thank all those who were Margo’s friends here in the Valley. She never forgot you.

    I am so sorry to hear about Margo’s passing. Even though I haven’t seen her in years, I have fond memories of performing with her in “Fiddler” and participating with her in forensic tournaments. Margo was always a kind person to others around her.
