The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will invite the public to Moapa Valley National Wildlife Refuge in Warm Springs on Saturday, October 6, for a fun and educational evening of exploring the night sky.
“Evening Under the Stars” begins at 7:00 p.m. at Refuge and will conclude at 9:00 p.m.
Rob Lambert, as well as other members of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society, will be providing the opportunity to view galaxies, double stars, nebulas and other spectacular space objects through telescopes. For both the experienced astronomer and the casual observer of the night sky, this is a unique opportunity guaranteed to delight and amaze. (Event subject to cancellation if cloud cover is heavy.)
