John Yuspa, Founder and Chairman of Honor Flight Nevada, will be speaking at the Mesquite Veterans Center on Sunday, December 2 at 1:00 pm. Yuspa will be there to talk to Veterans and their families about the Honor Flight NV Program.
The main purpose of the Honor Flight Program is to assure that all veterans are able to view the WWII Memorial, as well as other military memorials, in Washington, D.C. The trip is for three days and two nights at no cost to the veteran.
Mesquite currently has six applicants on the “ready” list. WWII veterans are receiving top priority on the waiting list. Applications can be picked up at the Mesquite Veterans Center.
