Brad Stratton
Bradley Scott Stratton, age 31, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born June 10, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Scott Powell and Fae Ann Winward Stratton. On October 26, 2002 he married Christine Tasha Perkins in Logandale, Nevada. They had three children and later divorced.
Brad lived most of his life in Moapa Valley. He graduated from Moapa Valley High School then worked various construction jobs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and tinkering with cars. He excelled with computers and electronics. His greatest joy came from time with his children.
Survivors include his three children: Ryan Scott, Cole Connelly and Alexa Joy all of Syracuse, UT; his father, Scott (Mary Jane) Stratton of Las Vegas, NV; his mother, Fae Ann Leavitt of Overton, NV; three sisters: Amanda Joy (Javier) Ramos of Logandale, NV; Jessica Ruth (Bo) Biscamp of Ivins, UT and Aubrey Lynne (Keegan) Doty of Las Vegas, NV.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Overton LDS 2nd Ward Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary and again one hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Tonaquint Cemetery, St. George, Utah at 3:30 p.m. (Utah Time). Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
