Local artist, Ron Casey, will be exhibiting his art and photography at the Wild Horse Gallery in downtown Overton beginning next Wednesday, August 7. The public is invited to an open house event at the gallery between 2-4 p.m. on that day to enjoy some light refreshments, view the exhibit and meet the artist.
Casey spent the better part of five years traveling the small towns and back roads of California, Nevada and Arizona. One of the most poignant experiences he took from his travels was the array of colors that nature has to offer.
With this in mind he has created his “Wall Art”, in the spirit of nature’s ever changing combination of colors, lines and shapes of distinction. His photography and wall art reflects these impressions, thus interpreting the beautiful colors and lines of natures work.
Originally from Southern California, Casey is an avid golfer who enjoys the outdoors. Whether in a forest, on the water, or hiking in the desert he usually has a camera in tow. He enjoys being a multimedia artist; he has also produced a few small portfolio movies, editing all aspects, including the music. He calls Moapa Valley home and is happy to share his art and experiences with the community.
