The American Legion Auxiliary is holding an emergency blood drive to help the community blood supply. Recent changes to the calendar have resulted in a shortage of over 700 life-saving units of blood. Every drop is needed to help patients here in Southern Nevada.
The Community Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, September 26 from 12:30 – 5:00 p.m. at the Old Overton Gym.

United Blood Services is the provider for Mesa View Regional Hospital, as well as 29 other hospitals and medical centers in Southern Nevada.
Eligible donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. All donors must bring a photo ID.
