Halloween Party To Be Held At Fairgrounds

The local Clark County Parks and Recreation staff will be hosting a Kids Halloween Party at the Logandale Fairgrounds on Halloween night, Thursday, October 31.

Parks and Rec staff say that the event will once again feature more than 25 trunks sponsored by local businesses and individuals for kids to “trunk or treat” and get their fill of candy.

The event will also include a spook alley operated by students from the Mack Lyon Middle School National Junior Honor Society and Beta Club. Other activities will include Bungee Jumping and Climbing Walls for the kids.

Hot dogs and chili will also be available for attendees to keep the energy level high.

The party will begin at 5:30 and run to 7:30 p.m. The cost of admission is one bag of candy per family. There is a suggested donation of $1 to enter the haunted house. All other activities are free.

The event is geared toward elementary school aged children and is open to all families and kids.

The Parks and Rec staff are still looking for individuals and businesses willing to sponsor trunks for the event. For information about sponsoring a trunk contact Clark County Parks and Rec at 398-7480.
