To assist Moapa Valley residents in their flood cleanup efforts, Republic Services will be opening its Moapa Convenience Center on an extra day this month.
Normally the center is only open on the first Saturday of each month. On that week, local Republic Services customers can drop off large trash items at the site which is located just north of Logandale on Waterline Drive west from State Highway 169.
But this month, the site will also be open between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on this Saturday, September 27 to assist with the cleanup of storm damage.
Then the site will be open again the following weekend at its regularly scheduled date of October 4, during the same hours.
There is no additional charge to local residential Republic Services customers for these services.
