A new Yoga instruction studio is opening up shop in Moapa Valley this weekend. The You Do Yoga studio is planning a grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 3 from 9:00 am to noon at the Cooperative Extensive Building B at 1897 N. Moapa Valley Blvd. in Logandale.
The opening event will feature raffles for free class passes, free gifts while supplies last, an opportunity to meet the teachers in the program, and more.
The studio will be offering a free week of classes during the following week of October 5-9 for local residents who are interested in trying it out.
The teachers of You Do Yoga, are professionally certified by schools approved by Yoga Alliance, a leading organization for quality standards in North America.
“Each month we will have a workshop featuring a teacher from Las Vegas for our students to experience yoga in new ways with different teaching styles,” said You Do Yoga owner Christina Geist.
Geist said that yoga is well known for its physical, physiological, emotional and mental benefits. It is the only type of physical fitness that can also be classified as therapy, she said.
“Give it a try, and see for yourself how this practice can transform you body and mind,” she said.
