The Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 16th annual Moapa Valley Car & Motorcycle Show to be held on Saturday, October 17 on the green at the Overton Park. Once again JC Hackett will provide music throughout the event and cash prizes will be awarded for some of the top categories along with over 30 car categories for trophies, plaques and random entry cash raffles for car registrants.
Also included is an automotive swap meet and the MV Rotary Club will be cooking up some delicious breakfast at 7:00 am for registrants and swappers! Mark your calendar and save the date as this year’s event will be better than ever.
Car entry fee is $30.00 pre-event, and $35.00 on the day of the show which is open until judging is complete. Each entry gets a free event t-shirt, goodie bag and entry raffle. The event kicks off at 8:30am.
The event will include food vendors, merchandise vendors and the Chamber is pleased to announce that Jeff Dastrup will be there offering pinstriping and car detailing! Car registrants can participate in an open header contest, slow drag race and G rated wet t-shirt contest! Raffles throughout the day.
You don’t want to miss out on the community family fun either. Bounce houses, rock climbing walls and face painting will be there. New this year is the FREE Klassic Kid Korner featuring classic car/hot rod pictures to color, a Halloween craft and Hot Wheel races!
