Have you ever tried to start a construction project or a remodel but become bogged down by county codes and regulations along the way? This week there is a chance to speak one-on-one with a Clark County building department official; to ask questions and make suggestions on the process.
The Clark County Northeast Office will be hosting a special Q&A session with Building Department experts on Thursday April 28 at 7 pm in the Overton Community Center.
In attendance will be Sam Palmer, Assistant Director of the Clark County Building Department. Palmer will hold a 90 minute session that evening where he will be making a brief presentation and then fielding questions and comments from the public in attendance. He will be able to answer questions about the permitting process, inspections and much more.
“We have heard a lot from people about the complexity of the building process,” said Amelia Smith of the Clark County Northeast Office. “So we wanted to give people a chance to sit down, have their questions addressed, to be heard and to make suggestions. This meeting will really be all about that.”
All are invited to attend. For more information call Smith at 702-647-6475
