Rose Marie Falin passed away at her home on June 21, 2017. She was born August 18, 1941, in Overton to Oscar Robbins and Rachel Robbins.
She attended grade school and went to Moapa Valley High School. She was known to be the yard sale Queen, she would not miss one. She loved to embroider and she loved crossword puzzles. She also loved playing cards with her friends and children. She was a great cook and everyone loved her cooking. She lived in New Jersey where she was a telephone operator, and later a cab dispatcher. She moved back to Overton in 1988, where she was a waitress at the Mesa Restaurant and manager of Overton Laundromat.
Rose is survived by two daughters: Toni Kay of Glover, Alabama, and Annice Weingarten of Overton, Nevada; four sons: Joe Baer, Phillip, David, and Eric Eisenman of Overton Nevada, and two sisters, Mary Smith of Overton, Nevada, and Edie Petty of Panaca, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Falin; son, Robert Eisenman; mother, Rachel Robbins; father, Oscar Robbins; brothers Jimmie, Paul, Leonard, and Roy Robbins; and two sisters, Emma Jean Robbins and Dorothy Williams. She will be missed by everyone who has known her.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Sportsman Bar from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
