There is a change in the air. The season has changed from hot Summer days to the cool crisp days of Autumn. It is once again time for the Festival of Fun and the Halloween Carnival at the Old Overton Gym, scheduled for Friday, October 20 from 5-7 p.m.
This year’s festival will offer a variety of game booths to challenge your skills and win a prize.
A tempting aroma from the kitchen will fill the air reminding everyone to stop in and pick up a dinner plate and enjoy a family dinner together. Temptation may be too great as you gaze over the many scrumptious and delicious items on the huge bake sale table.
A popcorn booth will allow attendees to grab a bag of popcorn which is a staple during the Halloween season.
The sweet eerie call of the “Pocket Lady” will be heard throughout the evening, calling all to “pick, pick, pick” a prize from her many pockets.
Everyone is invited to come decked out in their favorite Halloween costume.
The evening also is the opportunity to sign up for Old Overton Gym membership. Members can reserve the gym for parties, family activities and other events during the year. This year there will be a special raffle for 2 Gym memberships and 2 free Gym rentals. Anyone who signs up for gym membership during the carnival will receive 3 raffle tickets to be entered in to a drawing for a chance to win a free Gym rental! Raffle tickets will be $1 each.
