Boulder City
The Eagles had a better week last week. They were 2-1 with a couple of lopsided wins around a 3-1 loss to Mojave.
They started the week with a win at Western, 12-0. The Eagles pounded out twelve hits while the Warriors gave up five errors helping the Eagles to the shut out. Anthony Pacifico and Jimmy Dunagan each had two RBI’s to lead the Eagles. Pitcher Teddy Loblowics pitched the six-innings striking out seven.

In their second game, the Eagles hosted the Mojave Rattlers and were one-hit by Mojave in a 3-1 loss. Mike Cianci provided the Rattlers with the runs on a three-run double in the fifth inning. Mojave had only four hits themselves but provided enough offense to beat the defending state champions.
Boulder City then took out their frustration by beating Cheyenne in five innings 11-1 Cheyenne was allowed just one hit for the game. Chasten Wagstaff got the win pitching four innings. Travis Hungerford scored two RBI’s for Boulder City who finished the week and improved their overall record to 4-7 on the season.

Chaparral
The Cowboys are 11-1 so far this season overall. Last week the Cowboys went 5-0 outscoring their opponents 57-5 dominating everyone.

They started the week by beating Cheyenne 12-1 in five innings. The biggest inning for the Cowboys was the fifth when they scored four runs and ended the game. Rodney Elosegui hit a two-run homer.
In the second game of the week the Cowboys beat visiting Pahrump Valley 11-1 in six innings. The Cowboys scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to close the game out. Talon Greene hit a triple and four Cowboys scored two RBI’s apiece as the Cowboys spread the wealth.

The third game had the Cowboys pounding Western 19-3 in five innings winning the game with ten runs in the top of the fifth. James Cobian scored four RBI’s to lead the offense.
The fourth game was also the first game of the Cowboy invitational where they played Chaparral for the second time in three days. Chaparral shut out the Warriors 10-0. Elosegui had three RBI’s to lead Chaparral.
In the second invitational game the Cowboys no-hit the Valley Vikings 15-0 in three innings. James Cobian pitched the no hitter.

Del Sol
The Dragons finished last week with two wins and three losses. Desert Pines started the week for the Dragons with a 13-5 win. The Jaguars scored seven runs in the second inning then added five runs in the bottom of the fifth. Salvador Bederra had six RBI’s in the game to lead the Jaguars.

The second game was a 3-2 win for the Dragons over Sunrise Mountain. Jose Garcia had an incredible game pitching. He struck out seventeen Miners in the win.
Del Sol scored two runs in the fifth inning to regain and keep the lead.

The Dragons scored eight runs in the fourth inning to add to their 4-1 lead and win 12-2 in five innings. Chandler Miller hit a three-run home run to lead the Dragons to the win.
Next they went up against The Clark Chargers. Del Sol had just taken a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the third inning by scoring six-runs. Then in the top of the fourth of a four-inning game, Clark got hot and scored seven runs for a 13-7 lead. Del Sol tried hard to come back with four runs in the bottom of the fourth falling two runs short of the Chargers.

SECTA
The Roadrunners were 3-0 going into the Cowboy classic last Saturday and finished the week 4-1.
They beat Pahrump Valley 2-1 in a one hitter to start last week. They destroyed Cheyenne 23-2 in just two innings with a seven run first and a sixteen run second holding the Desert Shields to just three hits in the game. They then held on to beat desert Pines 6-5 at home.
On Saturday they played Mojave in the first game of the Cowboy Classic and beat the Rattlers 16-0. Tech had beaten every team in the Sunset in a week having beaten Western 8-0 the week before. They played Canyon Springs and were beaten 11-6 in the final game Saturday.
SECTA is 8-2 overall.

Virgin Valley
The Bulldogs were 6-4 overall finishing 4-1 last week.
They started the week with a 10-0 win over Parowan Utah. The Dawgs scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back for the six-inning game.
Bulldog pitching allowed just one hit over the game. Cade Anderson finished with five innings pitched with eleven strikeouts. Logan Felix and Kaden Peterson each finished with two RBI’s for Virgin Valley.
Desert Pines travelled to Virgin Valley and came away with a 3-2 win over the Dawgs. They scored two runs in the fourth inning and added the game winner in the fifth holding on as the Dawgs scored one run in the third and one in the bottom of the fifth to come close.

Virgin Valley played Alamo in the Friday game before the Cowboy Classic and beat the Panthers 15-4 in five innings. Virgin Valley scored twelve runs in the second inning for a big lead. Alamo committed nine errors in the game and had just one hit. The Dawgs ended up with four errors of their own.
In the Cowboy Classic Virgin Valley started with Eldorado and came away with a big 17-4 win over the Sun Devils. In the second game on Saturday, The Dawgs were shut out by Desert Pines 10-0 in five innings. Virgin Valley gave up eight runs in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.

Sunrise league standings; Chaparral 11-1, Vo-Tech 8-2, Moapa Valley 7-2, Virgin Valley 6-4-1, Del Sol 3-5 and Boulder City 4-7.

Sunset Standings; Desert Pines 8-4, Western 3-5, Pahrump Valley 3-7, Mojave 2-10, Sunrise Mountain 1-7 and Cheyenne 0-4.

3A Softball
Boulder City
The Eagles were 3-0 last week with three shut outs. The first was against Western 17-0, a one hitter. Next was a 11-0 win over Mojave. They beat Cheyenne 15-0 allowing just two hits in the game. For all three games the Eagles allowed just six hits.

Chaparral
The Cowboys were 2-1 last week with wins over Cheyenne 5-4 and Western 13-1. They lost to Pahrump Valley 15-0.

Del Sol
The Dragons were 3-0 last week beating Desert Pines 18-15 then shutting out Sunrise Mountain 15-0 and finishing the week against Mojave 21-18.

SECTA
The Roadrunners still have not won a game yet. They were beaten 16-0 by Pahrump Valley, 12-0 by Cheyenne and 23-13 by Desert Pines.

Virgin Valley
The Bulldogs beat Sunrise Mountain 25-23 in Vegas then beat Desert Pines 15-7 before losing to Alamo 13-1.

Chaparral 5-1, Del Sol 7-3, Moapa Valley 9-5, Boulder City 9-6, Virgin Valley 8-6 and Vo-Tech 0-7.

Sunset standings
Pahrump Valley 7-3, Western 4-4, Desert Pines 2-4, Cheyenne 1-3, Mojave
1-4 and Sunrise Mountain 1-6.
