Floyd Behmer
Bernie Floyd Behmer, age 62, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2018 at his home in Port Orchard, Washington. He was born May 29, 1956, the third child of Rosemary Shurtliff and Bernie Robert (Bob) Behmer.
Floyd married Jeanette Black and had 3 children, they were later divorced. Later Floyd met and married Andra and they were sealed in the Las Vegas, NV Temple.
Floyd was born in Las Vegas and grew up in Moapa Valley. He fought a long hard fight with cancer. He loved life and loved to fish and hunt. He served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including a mission to Puerto Rico, and most recently an ordinance worker in the Seattle, Washington Temple. He was an Eagle Scout, played football on a scholarship to Dixie College, and was an All State football player for the Moapa Valley High School Pirates.
Floyd is survided by his wife Andra; father Bernie Robert Behmer; siblings: older brother Robert ‘Bobby’ Carl (Patty) Behmer, older sister Marilyn Joyce (Melbourne) Perkins and little sister Darla Bell Behmer; five sons: Jeremy Behmer of Florida, Brad Behmer of Las Vegas, NV, Alan (Sarah) of Florida, Brock (Regina) of Las Vegas and Carl (Marissa) of Florida; and 2 adopted little brothers, Richard Behmer and Todd Williams, and 3 grandchildren: Ann Marie of Florida, and Devon and Elizabeth of Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosemary.
Floyd will be missed by all who knew him. Services were held in Washington State.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. at the LDS Hinckley building.

My condolences, Floyd had an amazing voice. His range was incredible. He usually sang bass, but he would also sing along with the soprano’s just for fun. He will be greatly missed.
