3A Boys Sunrise
Boulder City
The Eagles finished with a 5-0 record last week. They started with a win in Henderson against the Basic Wolves, 50-39. Matt Morton led the Eagles with 16-points followed by Derrick Thomas with 12 and Karson Bailey with 10.
They played the Meadows in the first round of the Lake Mead tournament and beat the Mustangs 57-28. Bailey had 17, Thomas 13 and Ethan Speaker 15 points.
American Prep, another private school in Las Vegas, was the Eagles’ second victim 72-64. Bailey finished with 23, Morton 21 and Thomas 13 in the high scoring game.
West Wendover was next, falling to the Eagles 78-63. Bailey scored 26-points, Thomas 19, Morton 15 and Speaker 14.
They beat Moapa Valley in the tournament championship

Chaparral
The Cowboys were 0-2 after last week. They lost to Foothill 73-58 where Mike Flores led the Cowboys with 22-points followed by Meshach Hawkins who scored 16. Foothill built a 25-10 lead by the end of the first quarter.
The Cowboys second game was a loss to Del Sol 56-53. The Dragons were led by Tyrell Hampton with 17-points followed by Kemani Wiks who scored 14 and Nati Asfaw who added 10-points. Deionte Allen scored 13-points to lead the Cowboys while Elijah Briggs added 10.

Sky Pointe
The Eagles beat Green Valley Christian 60-31; then Indian Springs 73-51. Niel Murry scored 15-points in the first game and Zackary Barfield scored 20 in the second. The Eagles were 2-0 on the week.
Others

Sunrise Mountain was 2-3 last week. Virgin Valley was 0-4 with losses to Mojave, 70-36; SLAM Academy, 68-25; The Meadows, 50-31; and Calvary Chapel, 57-48. The last three games in the Lake Mead tournament.

3A Boys Sunset
The Dragons were 2-0 with wins over SECTA, 74-67, and Chaparral.

Democracy Preps was 2-2 last week. They lost to Centennial 82-59 and Legacy 57-54. Their wins came against Arbor View 63-58 and Cimarron 72-46.

Mojave was 1-1 with a win over Virgin Valley and a loss to Shadow Ridge 64-63.

Pahrump Valley lost to Bonanza in their only game last week 78-36.

The Valley Vikings were beaten three times last week. The first loss came against Cheyenne 68-34, the second to Sierra Vista 63-25 and the third to Green Valley 87-69.

Western was 0-2 last week with a loss to Sunrise Mountain 36-34 and to Silverado 59-40.
