Ralph Edward Gonzalez
Ralph Edward Gonzalez passed away December 25, 2018 on Christmas morning. He was born June 4, 1961 to Sebastian Joe Gonzelez and Josephine Hale, the 4th of 5 children.
Ralph had only lived in Moapa Valley for about 5 years but he loved it. He resided in Overton with his partner in life Shannon Cavanaugh, and worked at Sugar’s Homeplate Restaurant as a cook. He was an avid Chargers fan.
A loving brother’s last words…
“Don’t let him fool you, he wouldn’t have it any other way. My brother reveled in life until his very last day.
His enthusiasm and spirit were impossible to miss. All those who met him were witness to this.
My brother was kind and caring, with a thoughtful way, pleased to help anyone out, on any day.
My brother delighted his patrons with avid appeal, his warmth was enough for all to feel.
Whether you met him just once or have known him for years, he would treat you one way, always sincere.
Of all who will miss him one thing’s for sure, my love for my brother will eternally endure.”
Ralph is survived by his partner Shannon Cavanaugh; 1 son and 2 daughters: Amanda Cavanaugh of Overton, NV, Kimberly Gonzalez and Kent Gonzalez of San Diego, CA; 1 sister and 3 brothers: Susan Odon of Alabama, Steve of Atlanta, GA, Joseph of Overton, NV and Sebastian of San Diego, CA; and his mother Josephine who will deeply miss her son of 57 years.
He was preceded in death by his father Sebastian.
For those who wish to pay their respects, services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at The Church of Latter-day Saints, 3348 Sweetwater Springs Blvd., Spring Valley, CA 91977.
