Cal’s Repair Center in Overton has added U-Haul Rentals to their well-known auto repair business. A variety of trucks and trailers are now available for rent whether individuals are moving in-town or across the country.
“We are here to help with anything you may need for your move, near or far,” said Lois Hall of Cal’s Auto Repair.
Trucks and trailers can be reserved all over the United States and as they come into the Valley they will be available at this location. Just last week trucks came in from as near as Mesquite and as far away as Georgia, Hall said.
U-Haul rentals are not just for large moves. The website for Cal’s Auto Repair located on Uhaul.com states, “U-Haul cargo van rentals and pickup trucks in Overton, NV are perfect for home improvement projects, deliveries and other small loads. Rent cargo vans or pickups to save money on local moving or deliveries.”
Additionally, the trucks offer many safety features.
According to Uhaul.com, “Our moving trucks have more safety features than other moving trucks in the industry including gentle ride suspension and high visibility mirrors to assist the driver.”
Prices differ from in-town to cross-country. Cal’s Repair Center offers the option to rent a truck at a flat fee for the day or by mileage for longer distances.
“If you get a quote from any competitors, we can meet them or beat them,” Hall said.
Logandale Storage on Jensen Ave. in Logandale also offers U-Haul rentals and has for many years. But Hall was quick to point out that the two businessess are not in competition with each other.
“We are both here to serve the Valley, and with the addition of Cal’s there will be more trucks and trailers available in the Valley,” Hall said.
Cal’s is also a certified garage for repairs to the U-Haul trucks and trailers. To become a certified garage, centers must be state-certified and a U-Haul dealership. Currently, Cal’s Repair Center is the only certified U-Haul repair garage from St. George to Las Vegas, Hall said.
Cal’s Repair Center has been serving the community in auto repair since December 1, 2011.
