Republican candidate Jim Marchant, who is running for U.S. Congress District 4 will be in attendance at the celebration.

In addition, Mesquite City Councilwoman and newly elected State Assembly representative Annie Black will be there.

Other candidates expected to attend include Mesquite mayoral candidate Bob Sweetin; City Council candidates Karen Fielding and Wes Boger; and State Judicial candidates Mary Perry, Veronica Barish and Charles Hoskins.

“There will be a chance to mix and mingle with candidates one-on-one to get your questions answered” said MWR Secretary Barbara Coverdale.
