The Moapa Valley Revitalization Project (MVRP) is pleased to announce that Kary Jade Adams is the winner of the community logo contest. Katy is new to Moapa Valley and is the owner of Katy Jade Designs.
Three weeks ago, the MVRP asked Moapa Valley residents to choose their favorite design from the three finalists published in the October 10 edition of the Moapa Valley Progress. The community response was overwhelming. Around 150 votes were cast in the contest both online and through a ballot box placed at several local businesses.
“I entered the contest because I am new to the community,” contest winner Katy Jade Adams said. “Graphic design is what I do. I am thrilled to win and appreciate all the people who took the time to vote.”
The logo she created will be at upcoming events and activities hosted by the Moapa Valley Revitalization Project.
There were two additional finalists in the contest. A design by Diego Rabines, featuring a Valley of Fire landscape, took second place. Third place was won by Grant Bowler Elementary studnet Audrie DeVoge.
