Mary Long

Mary Frances Williamson Long, 83, passed away on January 14, 2022 in Logandale, NV. She was born on June 20, 1938 in Ada, OK to Ewell Leslie Williamson and Eddie Perry.

Mary was raised in Oklahoma surrounded by a large family and race horses. Her family later moved to Salinas, CA where she gave birth to her three children: Leslie, Regina and Vicki. Her family worked on the farms and orchards and Mary worked in produce packaging. She met Robert Cody Long, and they were later married and raised their family in Salinas.

Mary loved helping other people and worked as a care-giver for social services for over forty years. Upon Robert’s passing, Mary moved to Moapa Valley, NV to live with her daughter, Vicki. She was a faithful member of the Calvary Community Church in Overton. She could often be seen at garage sales bargain shopping, with a McDonald’s iced coffee in her hands. She loved being with family, and cooked for many of the family gatherings and holidays. She was the #1 Mom and Grandma.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Regina (Kenneth) Walker and Vicki (Rod) Keeney; her three grandchildren: Tajuana, Jamie, and Cameron Paul (Alicia); her brother, Jimmy Williamson; her dogs, Woody, Trey, and Nasty; and a large extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Long, and her son, Leslie Cornell.

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Calvary Community Church.

The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
