Mesquite Works and the College of Southern Nevada Mesquite campus are planning a job fair and community event in Mesquite next month. And the organizers are inviting all businesses in the communities to participate.
“In the past we have successfully held job fairs for the community,” said Mesquite Works event coordinator Shaylynn Ruth. “And although we will still be emphasizing the hiring needs and open positions within your company we are also creating a community event.”
“Our hopes are to have companies, organizations, non-profits, present and future businesses of Mesquite and the surrounding areas to gather together to network with each other and the community,” Ruth added. “We will even have a display of future businesses who are coming to Mesquite.”
The event will be held on Friday, May 13 at the Mesquite Rec Center from 8 am until noon. And local employers are specifically invited to participate.
“We want to invite local businesses with hiring needs as well as organizations, non-profits, and existing and future companies to participate and network with the community,” said CSN Mesquite Site Coordinator Darlene Montague. “This opportunity allows you to be involved in the community and showcase your organization.”
