It was a holiday gift extravaganza last weekend at The Rooster Cottage Consignment Gallery. The Mesquite shop held its fall open house and customer appreciation day event on Saturday, November 19 and there was plenty there for nearly every holiday shopper.
The public was warmly greeted and each attendee was given a red Christmas Gnome or glass angel for their holiday tree as a gift.
A variety of products including watercolors, oil paintings, southwest design items, unusual clocks and much more, were displayed on the walls of the shop. Handmade walking sticks, purses, bags and knitted hats with furry pompoms on top were among the many unusual gifts displayed.
It would be hard to choose from the wonderful scented candles, soaps, and lip balms available.
Comfy and inviting couches with decorative pillows were a favorite of the men in the crowd. Many wood tables and chairs in various styles were decorated with ceramic dinnerware or centerpieces. Wind chimes and glass birds or decorative colored beads could be hung on the porch for accents.
And don’t forget the gifts for pets: cute and colorful items could be found for them too.
The back room of the shop had 50% off items and picture frames and coaster sets were 25% off.
All customers received a bag of Danielle’s white chocolate popcorn and bottled water.
Dana and Carol and their staff did a great job of making each area in the store eye appealing and inviting. If you missed it, you are still invited to come and see the unique gifts available at the store at 748 West Pioneer Blvd.
