The Moapa Valley Teen Leadership Corps (TLC) is holding another fundraiser fun-run event on Saturday morning, Dec. 3. The roughly 3 mile run/jog/walk/stroll will begin in the Grant Bowler Elementary School parking lot at 8 am with registration beginning at 7:30 am.
This is the second year that the Jingle Jog 5K is being held. The event is run in memory of former Logandale resident Joe Perez.
The registration fee for the event is a suggested donation of $10 per person to run. But if participants bring a canned or non-perishable food item to donate to the local food bank, that drops to only $5 per person.
All cash donations will go towards the TLC, a local 4-H youth group that plans, coordinates and holds community events which promote better mental health in the community.
