Luke Sisson will graduate as valedictorian from Beaver Dam Jr. and Sr. High School, Class of 2025. Luke plans on going to Utah Technical University, where he earned a full-ride scholarship based on his high test scores. He wants to be a mechanical engineer and work on airplanes. Additionally, Luke was awarded three smaller scholarships, amounting to $2,500. Luke said, “In high school I played baseball, and that really helped my social life.” His favorite quote is “There is no hill too great, only a hill too small.”

 

Valery Garcia will graduate as salutatorian from Beaver Dam Jr. and Sr. High School, Class of 2025. She plans to go to Mohave Community College and take English classes. Her goal is to become a respiratory therapist.

While in high school she played softball and won awards in her Spanish class. Valery said, “The thing I think I’ll miss the most about high school is being able to watch the football and basketball games with my friends.”
