The Virgin Valley Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution continued to inform valley residents of constitutional history with events held throughout Constitution Week from Sept. 17 through Sept. 24.
The events began with the nationwide ringing of the bells on Sept. 17.
DAR then brought the Liberty Bus to JL Bowler and Virgin Valley elementary schools. The bus trip begins in Utah and travels to schools, giving fifth graders access to constitutional history. The bus driver and his co-pilot are dressed in period costumes and give the kids tours bus tour. They offer interactive displays and answer questions, telling the kids who their characters were and the part they played in forming the country.
