Golf Fore Kids Mesquite, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing holiday gifts for underprivileged children, has launched a new website: https://golfforekidsmesquite.org/.

The new online platform will make it easier for the community to get involved in their charitable efforts, especially with their flagship event, the 21st Annual Golf Fore Kids tournament.

For over two decades, Golf Fore Kids has helped families in need throughout the Virgin Valley, Moapa Valley and the Scenic/Beaver Dam/Littlefield areas. Their mission is to ensure every child experiences the joy of Christmas. They achieve this by collecting toys and raising funds, which are then distributed to local families through partnerships with the Salvation Army, Mesquite Fire Department, Mesquite Police Department and area schools.

The cornerstone of their fundraising is the annual Golf Fore Kids tournament, a 4-person scramble that brings the community together for a day of golf and giving. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, Dec. 11, with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament will be held across four of Mesquite’s golf courses: Falcon Ridge, Palms, Palmer and Conestoga.

The new website is the go-to resource for tournament information, including registration, which opens on Oct. 1 at 7 a.m. Participants can register online, and the entry fee is a new, unwrapped toy with a minimum value of $75.

Following the tournament, a luncheon and awards ceremony will be held at the Holiday Inn Barn. The event will also feature a large raffle, with all proceeds going towards the purchase of additional toys and gifts for the children.

The new website also provides information on how to become a hole sponsor. A sponsorship for one course is $75, or businesses and individuals can sponsor a hole at all four courses for $200.
