On Halloween night, local businesses gathered to spread the spooky spirit at Mesquite’s annual Trunk or Treat. In previous years, the event was held in the CasaBlanca parking garage, but this year it was moved to the Mesquite Recreation Center.
The event was organized and executed thanks to the Mesquite Police Department and its volunteers, who helped create a safe and enjoyable evening for everyone. Children filled their bags with candy from several decorated trunks hosted by local organizations, including T-Mobile, VanDyk Mortgage, the Virgin Valley Water District, the Elks Lodge and the Mesquite Fire Department.

Costumed children, themed displays and holiday music added to the festive atmosphere, making the night one to remember. Trunk or Treat continues to be one of Mesquite’s most anticipated family events and brings the community together to celebrate Halloween in a safe and family-friendly environment.
