Infowest, one of Moapa Valley’s internet service providers, hosted a customer appreciation day on Monday, Nov. 17. Customers and community members were invited to come to the office at 193 South Moapa Valley Blvd. to enjoy lunch furnished by Tacos ’n Salsa and have an opportunity to spin and win from a selection of merchandise. Each participant was entered into a drawing for a chance to win the grand prize, an RTIC Cooler.
Director of marketing Adam Garceau said, “This is a way to give back to the community. We are grateful for the community support we enjoy and don’t take it for granted.” Marketing specialist Laiza Moreno agreed, saying, “Today is about saying thank you to our customers.”

Infowest has been in business for 31 years. Company owners Adam and Janice Hardy bought the valley’s first local internet service, Comnett, in 2010, and after five years, merged with Infowest, which is headquartered in St. George, Utah.
Janice said, “We love this valley. This is where we live, where we raised our kids. We offer a quality product at a reasonable rate. We continue to offer plans designed to meet our customers’ needs. We want to be the company you feel comfortable recommending to your family and friends.” In fact, when you refer friends or family to sign up for residential internet service, you receive a $50 account credit, and so do they. There is no limit to the number of account credits you can earn.
Plans are available at Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, depending on your family’s internet needs. There is also a Snowbird Mode available to seasonal homeowners. With Snowbird Mode, you can lower your internet bill while you are away without losing connection to your smart devices. Whether it is for a few days, a few months or even a few years, your essentials stay online while you are away.
