Students from Virgin Valley High School spent Saturday morning, Nov. 22, painting holiday pictures on the windows of Mesquite City Hall.
This is the fourth year in a row that art teacher Tylor Roylance and his students have volunteered to paint holiday decorations on the windows of City Hall.
Roylance said, “My drawing class students draw the pictures, and my other art students volunteer to come and paint them on City Hall.”
This idea started four years ago when Nancy Hewett initiated it with Roylance. The students enjoy pizza that is furnished by the city while they are painting.
Helping this year were Mia Gardner, Soul Green, Susana Martinez, Caelyn Pope, Ricardo Lujan, Valeria Guerrero, Liam Gutierrez and the Roylance family (Glades and Joaquin)
