Mesquite Entertainment has announced its comprehensive schedule for December 2025, bringing a month-long celebration of holiday events, high-stakes sports viewing and headline entertainment to the CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Casino & Lodge.

From the start of the College Football Playoffs to an 80s-themed New Year’s Eve spectacular, the properties are set to offer a wide variety of dining, gaming and entertainment options to close out the year.

New Year’s Eve celebrations

Both properties will ring in 2026 with distinct celebrations on Wednesday, December 31.

At CasaBlanca Resort & Casino: The headline event features iconic new wave band Men Without Hats, joined by 80’s Station. Fronted by Ivan Doroschuk, Men Without Hats—famous for global hits like “The Safety Dance”—will lead a high-energy transition into the new year.

Time: Doors open at 8 p.m.; show begins at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: Starting at $57.66 (21+ only).

Dining: Katherine’s Steakhouse will offer a $150 Surf and Turf special featuring a 6 oz Wagyu filet and a 16 oz Australian lobster tail.

Casino Floor: A celebratory champagne toast will take place at midnight.

At Virgin River Casino & Lodge: Guests can enjoy a variety of activities ranging from live music to cosmic bowling.

Live Music: Singer-songwriter Gregg Peterson will perform at the Virgin River Events Center from 9 p.m. to midnight (Free for guests 21+).

Bingo: A high-stakes session with $17,500 in prizes begins at 10 p.m. ($60 pre-paid reserved seating required).

Family Fun: The arcade offers a special “Ring in 2026” package, and the bowling alley will host Cosmic Bowling from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. for $6 per game.

Holiday entertainment and special events

Beyond New Year’s Eve, the month includes seasonal tributes and interactive events.

Scott Keo (Michael Bublé Tribute): On Saturday, December 13 at CasaBlanca, Scott Keo will perform a “Spirit of the Holidays” show. Tickets start at $25.05.

Swing with Santa: The Palms Golf Course hosts a festive 4-person shamble on Sunday, December 21. The $75 entry fee includes food, prizes, and proceeds benefiting Junior Golf.

Splash of Cheer Pop-Up Bar: Running weekends through December 26 at the CasaBlanca Splash Bar, this pop-up features festive cocktails like “Jingle Juice” and “Jolly Ole Maple Fashioned.”

Sports viewing: UFC and football

Both the CasaBlanca and Virgin River Sportsbooks will serve as hubs for major December sporting events.

UFC 323: Live broadcast on Saturday, December 6.

College Football: Coverage includes Conference Championships on December 6 and the start of the College Football Playoffs beginning Friday, December 19.

NFL: Games will be shown every Thursday, Sunday, and Monday.
