A local favorite, food and beverage business Fixxology, located at 325 N. Sandhill Blvd., has changed owners and celebrated its new ownership with a Chamber of Commerce-hosted ribbon cutting on Saturday morning.
The line waiting for the 10 a.m. reopening was impressive. New owner Kathryn Haga stood on a tabletop and spoke to the crowd, saying, “I am so grateful and honored and appreciate everyone that came out in person to support us.”
Haga’s huge family came from Idaho to support her, and they all stood behind the ribbon for the cutting.

Haga hails from Victor, Idaho, where most of her family still lives, though Haga and her husband have established their permanent home in Scenic, Arizona. She has four grown children and nine grandkids, and her background includes managing a tire shop in Idaho for nine years.
“We are going to add a new line of cookies and bring back the hot dogs. New menus for the wall are being made as we speak,” said Haga.
They have kept all the previous employees and hired a few new ones for a total of 15 employees. Haga said she and a helper will be in the truck. They will continue with the delivery contracts they have and hope to add new ones. Haga wants to remind people that Fixxology has 10 flavors of ice cream, as well as Italian ice. They cater and have free delivery for orders of four or more.
Store hours are changing to Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
