The Virgin Valley Future Farmers of American (FFA) chapter hosts a dog wash every first Saturday of the month as a fundraiser to support students participating in state competitions. The event takes place at Tractor Supply. Community members are invited to bring their dogs to be washed by FFA chapter members, who work together to provide a helpful service while raising money for travel, materials and competition fees.

The monthly dog wash also gives students the opportunity to build leadership, teamwork and communication skills outside the classroom. FFA members strengthen their connection to the community while gaining hands-on experience that supports both their personal growth and their success at state-level competitions.
