Studio B Dance Academy has remained active throughout Moapa Valley, Mesquite and surrounding communities this season, with dancers participating in local events, regional competitions and collaborative performances with the high school dance program.
Studio B dancers proudly performed in the Veterans Day Parade, as well as the Pomegranate Festival and Festival of Trees, bringing energy and artistry to cherished community celebrations. These events reflect the studio’s continued commitment to being involved, visible and supportive within the valley.
As competition season began, dancers represented the community at Axis in Hurricane, Utah; Showstopper at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California; and Storm Dance Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada. Across multiple styles and age divisions, Studio B dancers earned high placements, overall awards and judges’ recognition while continuing to strengthen their technical foundation and performance quality. Each event provided valuable experience and growth for the team.
Most recently, Studio B was honored to be invited to perform at the Moapa Valley High School Pirate Motion Revue. Two competitive routines were featured in the show, including a solo choreographed by Studio B instructor and Pirate Motion team member, Maylei Holmstead. The opportunity allowed younger dancers to share the stage in support of the high school program and connect with the next level of performance in the community.
In addition to performances, Studio B dancers continue training and preparing new solos and group pieces for upcoming competitions and the Clark County Fair. Several dancers will also attend a regional dance convention next weekend to further expand their technique and artistry.
Founded in 2019, Studio B Dance Academy remains committed to developing strong dancers both on and off the stage. As the season continues, the studio looks forward to representing Moapa Valley and Mesquite with dedication, growth and pride.
