The 1950s streets of New York are about to come alive at the Mesquite community theater with its presentation of “Guys & Dolls Sr,” complete with a cast of about 20 sinners and five or six missionaries trying to save their souls.
Senior editions are something new being presented to senior communities by publishers. Mesquite Community Theater is one of the first to present one of these plays. Adapted for seniors to play the parts, the productions are shorter versions of high-quality, well-known plays. Fees for the plays are greatly reduced, and the contract calls for reduced admission prices of $15.
