The Mesquite Senior Center had to cancel its last scheduled dinner show when people didn’t sign up for it by the deadline. Organizer Krissy Hall Thornton said, “Folks were trying to sign up after we had canceled the show. I felt really bad about it.”

The center has two more events planned:

The Wheez’n Geezers Dinner & Show will be held Friday, April 10. The cost is $15 for a dinner of chicken cordon bleu and dessert. The deadline to get tickets is April 3.

The Cowboy Dinner & Show will be held Thursday, May 7, featuring a chicken fajitas dinner and dessert for $15. The deadline to get tickets is April 29.

Thornton said, “Please remember to sign up for events, or we will have to cancel them.”
