The interesting display of artwork capturing each artist’s “Moment in Time” made for great conversations by the attendees at the Virgin Valley Artists’ Association (VVAA) Themed Awards night on Thursday, March 19.
The awards night was sponsored by the Women’s History and Culture Center. Their Sponsor’s Choice Award went to Monique Marie Long for her acrylic mixed-media painting of a woman saying, “I am…letting go.”
The People’s Choice Award went to Mary Mathis for her acrylic painting “Final Glimpse,” a place she said she would like to go someday. There was no Mayor’s Choice award this month.
