The Mesquite Conservatives Group opened a Republican campaign office at a ceremony hosted by the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce on Monday, May 20, 2026. A small group of supporters came to participate in the ribbon-cutting.

Left to right: Sue Zubin, Patti Rustr and Janis Garrett show off the new Republican Campaign Office located in Annie’s Place.
The office is located inside Annie’s Place, located at the corner of Mesquite Boulevard and Sandhill. The office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 1 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Group leader Janis Garratt said, “We are extremely appreciative of Annie Black donating this space to us for our campaign office we could not otherwise afford.”
The office will be staffed, so the public can register to vote there and pick up candidate information and yard signs.
“Each election year Mesquite Conservatives put out the sample ballot with our recommendations and endorsements. Candidates have been vetted based on constitutional and biblical principles as much as possible. Their electability is judged by their endorsements, contributions, interviews, debates and information obtained from other political advisors in Clark County,” Garrett said. “Some candidates are chosen for strategic purposes because sometimes our first-choice option is unlikely to win the election, and strategic voting decreases the issue with diluting the vote.”
If you have any questions about the sample ballot or candidates, please contact Janis Garrett at 702-613-4660 (landline) or by email at MesquiteConservatives@yahoo.com.
Hope you get a good one next time!!
