More details have emerged following the serious crash that shut down northbound Interstate 15 for several hours near mile marker 94 on Sunday, June 28. One person was killed and four others were hospitalized following a head-on collision that shut the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Clark County, Nevada, on Sunday evening.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 6:43 p.m. after a southbound Toyota Tacoma lost control, crossed the median and entered the northbound travel lanes, where it collided head-on with a Toyota Prius.

Emergency responders transported multiple individuals to area hospitals, including two who were airlifted by medical helicopter with serious injuries. The crash forced the closure of all northbound lanes near mile marker 94, with traffic diverted from the interstate as emergency crews responded and investigators worked at the scene. The closure lasted for several hours before the roadway reopened later the next morning. 

According to information shared by family members, two of those injured in the Prius have been identified as Hanna Crawford and Jeremy Hottinger, also known as Kickstand. They are business owners from Hurricane, Utah. Both sustained significant injuries and are facing a lengthy recovery.

Family members report that both Hanna and Jeremy were airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where they remain hospitalized and are receiving ongoing care. Their injuries will require surgery and an extended healing process.

The crash remains under investigation by the Nevada Highway Patrol. The June 28 collision caused significant traffic disruptions along I-15, with northbound traffic backed up for hours while the interstate remained closed near mile marker 94.

Friends, family and community members are rallying around Crawford and Hottinger as they begin what is expected to be a long and challenging road to recovery.
