4-H hosts TLC Community Country Dance for Valentine’s Day
The 4-H Teen Leadership Corps hosted a community western Valentine’s dance on Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Clark County Fairgrounds Fine Arts Building. The Dread Pirates, Jace Newsom and Joshua Linford from Moapa Valley High School, traveled to Salt Lake City to compete at Rumble in the Rockies, a three-day Signature Event held Jan. 28–31 with over 100 robotics teams from around the world. Pirate Robotics co-hosted the “Walk the Plank” robotics tournament on Saturday, Jan. 17, bringing 29 middle school and high school teams from Nevada and Utah to Moapa Valley for a full day of competition.
