New exhibit opens at Lost City Museum

Valley residents were invited to attend the opening of a new exhibit exploring the 1925 and 1926 Lost City Pageants on April 11. The pageants were historic celebrations that inspired the creation of the Boulder Dam Park Museum — now the Lost City Museum — in 1935. Alumni game a community staple

The yearly exhibition baseball game in remembrance of former Moapa Valley High School players BJ Robison and Shawn Sandoval was played on Feb. 16 at the MVHS baseball field. A large group of local ladies traveled to Cedar City, Utah, to attend a quilt retreat held the week of Feb. 4-7 at the Heritage Center. The annual retreat is sponsored by the Cedar Chest Quilter’s Guild.
