The yearly exhibition baseball game in remembrance of former Moapa Valley High School players BJ Robison and Shawn Sandoval was played on Feb. 16 at the MVHS baseball field. Senior sluggers battle for gold at Mesquite Games in two-day tourney

The fall Mesquite Senior Games began with a two-day tournament held Oct. 4-5 at Pioneer Park in Mesquite. Sixty-nine teams with players in their 60s and 70s competed for the gold, silver and bronze medals. Six games were played in the 60s category and three in the 70s. Teams came from as far as Canada.
