Judges gathered at the Mesquite Fine Arts Center on Thursday, May 28, to determine the winners of the Saxon Cat Contest. Texas 4000 cyclists reach Mesquite on 12th day of journey to Alaska
Almost 20 cyclists of the Sierra Team made their way to Mesquite Recreation Center on May 27, to be greeted by members of the community waving signs congratulating the individual participants. Community effort adds piano to Art Center Pavillion
On March 6, during the First Friday event, a colorful community piano placed in the pavilion was dedicated by Steve Dudrow, chair of the Public Arts Commission, with a ribbon cutting and the colorful Mesquite showgirls. On Feb. 1, the Warrior Women of Mesquite came through with another fundraiser for Mesquite resident Laura Fabiola Frias, a single mother with breast cancer. Sign-up time for Desert Dames Fashion Show
The annual Desert Dames Fashion Show will be held in the CasaBlanca Casino Ballroom on Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. You do not have to be a member to attend, but you must sign up by Nov. 5. Women’s History Museum opens in Mesquite
