Mesquite Chamber hosts ‘Bring a Veteran to Lunch’
The Mesquite Chamber of Commerce hosted the sixth annual “Bring a Veteran to Lunch” event on Tuesday, Nov. 11. This year it was located in the Virgin River Event Tent. Approximately 40 residents at Mesa Valley Assisted Living and Memory Care enjoyed a tribute to the resident veterans. Mesquite honored Veterans Day with an early morning ceremony at Veterans Park on Saturday, Nov. 8. The annual service was led by former mayor and Army veteran Al Litman.
