The Moapa Valley High School wrestling team performed well at the Mustang Stampede on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12-13, at Shadow Ridge High School. MV boys wrestle into finals; girls team doubles in size
The Moapa Valley High School boys wrestling team made the finals of the Boulder City Duals on Saturday, falling only to Spring Valley High School, 44-24. Senior Caleb Anderson and junior Ryker Katich both went 4-0. NIAA sanctions girls wrestling
The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association voted to sanction girls wrestling as a sport for high school athletics last week. “Really exciting,” Moapa Valley High School head wrestling coach Ryan Anderson said. “The girls deserve it.” The sport will be officially sanctioned in the state starting the academic year of 2026-2027.
